The aim of this interdisciplinary project is to develop algorithmic procedures for the semi-automatic collation of different language versions of a text, which are often not translations in the sense of a word-for-word and sense-for-sense transfer from a source language to a target language.

The aim is to identify the differences/divergences between the texts, which are only partially parallel, at the level of paragraphs, sentences, phrases and words, or at the level of elementary discourse units.
